Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Brut Gold Champagne 75cl Non Vintage in the famous gold pewter bottle is marvellous, complex and full-bodied, with a bouquet that is both fresh and lively. It’s sumptuous, racy fruit character is perfectly integrated with the wine’s subtle brioche accents. The first release from Armand de Brignac, the Brut Gold remains the most iconic cuvée in the range. Rich with the old world traditions of champagne blending, it is a trio of vintages from some of the most lauded terroirs in the region, resulting in a prestige cuvée that expresses vibrant fresh fruit character, and layers of complexity. Billecart Salmon Cuvee Nicolas Francois 2006 Champagne 150cl was created in 1964 as a tribute to the House’s founder. Partially vinified in traditional oak casks, this champagne expresses generous and elegant character. On the eye, a lovely colour of sparkling yellow gold, veiled in luminous golden reflection. On the nose, there is a balanced tension controlled by the blossoming of the wine offering aromas of seeded and stone fruit, citrus fruit and warm madeleines. Followed by fine notes of spruce and juniper berries.

Canard-Duchêne Cuvée Léonie Brut NV Champagne 75cl is part of the Cuvee Leonie Collection, champagnes of a distinct mature style and crafted specifically to accompany food. Cuvee Leonie Brut combines aromas of fruity notes and toasty, spiced vanilla tones, expressing the hallmark of truly great champagnes. “Cuvée Léonie Champagnes are truly exceptional. Dom Perignon is only released as a vintage champagne in years where the harvest has been exceptional. Each release is a creation that is singular, and unique and that expresses the character of the year and of Dom Perignon. After 8 years in the cellars, the champagne offers a harmonious balance. Depending on the vintage the Pinot Noir in Dom Perignon champagnes usually dominates; presenting peach, raspberry, and dark cherry. The Chardonnay then adds a supportive layer that is chalky in texture and offers notes of pineapple, plum, and apple. This vintage release is made up of 51% Pinot Noir and 49% Chardonnay.

G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne 75cl is made from a blend of 50 different wines from a blend of up to 77 different vineyards with a high proportion of reserve wines from five different vintages. Brightly sparkling, light golden yellow liquid with an abundance of fine and elegant bubbles. Aromas of lemon and grapefruit, with notes of white peach, apricot and acidulous apple. Lingering notes of vanilla, dried fruit and honey. Complex fresh fruit and caramel flavours are the mark of a great wine. A touch of acidity and remarkable length in the mouth make a consistently delightful finish.

The grapes from the province of Treviso, an area that has always produced high quality Prosecco, give this sparkling wine a luminous straw yellow hue and for its emphatic yet stylish mousse. The bouquet is redolent of Golden Delicious apple, while the palate is appealingly marked by aromatic notes of honey, black liquorice, and acacia blossom. For its most iconic collection, Mionetto refreshed the shapes of the bottle that has historically represented Prosecco. The soft lines get thinner with a slight touch of height, which gives them a modern character. The body is wrapped in an elegant look, characterized by microtextured materials and shiny foils.

Krug Grande Cuvée 171ème Édition Champagne is the 171st Edition of the Krug Grande Cuvée and it was composed around 2015 and created by the Cellar Master to accentuate the year’s elegantly diverse aromatic expressions with a broad spectrum of different plots’ wines from 11 other years.  In all, reserve wines from the House’s extensive library made up 42% of the final blend, bringing the breadth and roundness so essential to each Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée. A blend of 131 wines from 12 different years, the youngest of which is from 2015, while the oldest dates back to 2000. Its final composition is 45% Pinot Noir, 37% Chardonnay and 18% Meunier. A light golden colour and fine, vivacious bubbles, holding a promise of pleasure. Aromas of flowers in bloom, ripe, dried and citrus fruits, as well as marzipan and gingerbread. Grilled notes and flavours of almond paste, quince, lemon, limoncello and dried fruit.

La Cuvée is Laurent-Perrier’s signature champagne, defining the House style with its characteristic lightness, freshness and elegance. With up to 55% Chardonnay and a minimum of four years aging in the cellars, La Cuvée is delicate yet complex with crisp notes of citrus fruit and white flowers, and great length on the finish.  

The Louis Roederer Collection 244 marks a new era for Louis Roederer, it is a development in structure, form and style. The effects of climate change and the increased importance of practising sustainable viticulture have shaped the style of this Champagne. The creation of Collection values the environment in order to wholly expose the characteristics of the terroir. Collection is created from a range of parcels found in the heart of the Champagne region that is suited to its identity and where the emphasis is on sustainable growing practices. Collection 244 is a blend of 10% oak-aged reserve wines and 36% from their perpetual reserve including vintages from 2012 to 2018, complementing the base vintage of 2019, which makes up 54% of the cuvée.

Louis Roederer’s Carte Blanche NV Champagne is a demi sec champagne so it has a little more residual sugar than normal (38g/L). With a medium body and a complexity and roundness characteristic of Roederer champagnes, the demi-sec tastes of honey with notes of ripe sweet, caramelised apple and almonds. Carte Blanche uses all 3 Champagne grape varieties from more than 40 different plots.
